Hey, the stars are for how much I enjoyed the book, not for how good it is. This is not great literature but the writing is good and it is entertaining.
There are many things about this book that I normally do not like in writing. I noticed some people were having difficulties because of the 'non-linear timeline' of this book. I found it well connected by Clare's linear timeline. I'll have to admit that I didn't pick up on the 1984 event as the day Henry died (until the end of the book). Also, I wasn't sure what to make of Henry's visit to Clare when she was 82, except to conclude that he was 'just checking in on her to say hello' I found all the dates and ages on the scenes useful, just so long as I didn't try too hard t
