This was my initial reaction now that I had time to think about it I'll try to elaborate my thoughts and feelings
The writing is beautiful choosing death as a narrator in Nazi Germany also interesting concept
So why didn't this book blow me away or make me cry or even change a tiny bit of me
See I have marked passages I liked and quotes I enjoyed but still the hype blew it
I wouldn't say entirely but somewhat it did
