This really is my favorite book of all time.
People have said that Cinder starts out slow, and that the series gets better as you go. I do agree that the series gets progressively better, but I really think that Cinder will grab you right from the beginning. You immediately get attached to all the characters and are worried about their safety even when you've only known them for a few chapters.
