The only fault which I found in this marvellous reading is the ending: the closure was very much deplorable and I was really expecting something better from the greatest of character shapers.

A great book nevertheless.

A reread of this classic. Such a timeless tale. Every time I reread Dickens I realise how much I've forgotten from the last time, which might have been years previously. IMHO it's always worth the reread; he is my favourite author. ...more

Not my favorite Dickens. However, I appreciated the foreword in the third edition which explained several of the choices Dickens made in his characters and plot.
