What Members Thought
The city guards are ubiquitous in almost every fantasy and medieval story, but it's tremendously rare for them as a whole to get more than a single line in a film or book. They get beaten, killed, knocked out and robbed of their uniforms, but never any respect. Pratchett changes all this in a very enjoyable book about the city guards in his mythical Discworld. It's very entertaining, perhaps my... um... second favourite in the series so far.
