Delinsky has written another great story and one every mom of a daughter should read. If I could have ignored the rest of my responsibilities I would have read the book in one sitting, but instead read it every spare moment. While a bit stereotypical in the main characters, this was an engaging, easy read that really hammers home a good question - exactly how responsible are mothers for their children's behavior? The story of a pregnancy pact among a group of "good" girls stirs up thoughts of just how much we know about our children, and a reminder taht ultimately, they are their own people.

I found this an interesting read, but somewhat unbelieveable. Not that good, smart girls don't get pregnant, but in real life things don't quite work out like in the book. But I do think there will be things to discuss about how parents, esp. moms, are viewed when their kids fail. At what point do our children became responsible for their own decisions and mistakes?
