What Members Thought
1930s life in a small town. A single mother running a boarding house while raising her autistic son in the days before diagnosis. A newcomer with nothing to lose who fights for justice. Other small town characters.
I would give this book 3 1/2 stars. The story may have been a little cheesey and predictable, but it was well-written and engrossing and I could not put it down!
