This is not my usual type of book and as the violence escalated toward the end, it got pretty gruesome but I had to see it through once it went that far. This medical resident turned author (or is it vice versa because he got his BA in writing before he became an MD?)has the formula for a best seller down, short chapters, profanity and violence. I'm sure people will read this but it's not exactly one that I can do a lot of readers advisory for unless I know they like sex and violence!

This was one of those books with a little too many bad words and way too much violence and lots of bad guys doing bad things and the protagonist was not always the best of guys, but when you are stuck in a hotel in Boise for hours and hours with nothing else to do, it is hilarious and worth a listen (the audio book was on sale at audible.com, so I had to buy it!)I found it worthwhile... and worth the $4.95 I payed for it :)
