What a great follow-up to another great book (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo). I think I enjoyed this even more than the firs book. Now I just want to read the next book now! I feel bad that the author is not alive to reap the benefits of these great books and that he's not around to write anymore. 3 will probably not be enough.

Much like the first in the Millennium series, the Girl Who Played with Fire starts off at an even pace, laying the groundwork and defining relationships between the main characters. Then, BAM, one event and I didn't want to put the book down. Intense. I almost picked up the final book right after, but decided I needed to catch my breath and change the pace. One thing really bugs me though...what is it with Blomkvist and seducing every woman he meets?!

I really liked this sequel to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, but the ending left me struggling with the idea I have to wait until May to read the final book, The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. The book left you with a lot of unfinished business.

I loved this audiobook and cannot wait for the third title to be released in audiobook. I love Lizbeth's tough spunkiness and her ability to think problems through completely before taking action. I'm so sorry that Larsson died and that the third novel in this series will be the last we see of her. Hopefully the movies that Hollywood makes will do the series justice.

Not as good as The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. There were some WOW moments but the ending seemed very abrupt.

The Girl Who Played With Fire had me hooked from the very first page. What a page turner! What an ending! I am addicted! I cannot wait to read the third book. www.Fridaymorningbookclub.com
