I really liked this book... I read it about the time I watched the movie Practical Magic and there were some strong similarities. The story is of two sisters living in Bascom, North Carolina. Claire tends the garden, which grows year round and she uses the herbs and flowers to create special dishes for her catering business. This is not one that I would typically pick up...the "magical food" theme is not really my thing, but I loved it anyway. It's fun, a quick read, and you don't have to totally suspend belief to enjoy the book.
