This book was really something. The descriptions of the jail were brutal and I felt the damp and cold along with Sarah and her family. It's so incredible to me that this went on and yet not so surprising when we can see other "witch hunts" which have happened in this country since then. Would be useful to high school students to read for a better understanding of this era.
