I listened to this as an audiobook... it was almost 48 hours long! I did enjoy this follow-up to Follett's book The Pillars of the Earth. Same town but 200 years later. Great characters and fascinating description of England in the 1300s. ...more

Definitely worthy as a sequel to "Pillars of the Earth". Grabs you from the start and you're sad when it's over. Let's hope we don't have to wait as long for another one. ...more
