(4.5 stars) I was so happy to see a book about cats! There have been several about dogs lately, and although I love dogs, cats just don't seem to get the attention/respect they deserve. They are more of a "behind the scenes" pet, which makes them take a back seat to dogs. But after reading this book, you can see how funny, quirky, loyal and loving a cat is. I am not a cat lover at all. I've never owned a cat and probably never will (too expensive!) but I loved this book and I think Dewey is great. And I think Vicki Myron's story was compelling and intriguing. Gosh, she went through a lot during her life and Dewey really helped keep her spirits up!
