What Members Thought
While I wouldn't necessarily put this book at the top of a "pleasure reading" list, I do think it would make for an excellent book club discussion.
Sima is not a particularly likable character but the reader is drawn into her story. When the book began I wondered what direction the author was going. Many stories were interwoven through the novel - tales of infertility, young love, independence, relationships, and expectations.
