Shelves: non-fiction, good-audiobooks, nf-history, read-in-2015, journeys, retellings-ish

Full disclosure, I had to skip bits towards the end in order to return it in time, but I fully intend to go back and complete it. This was rather delightful--history meets travelogue, complete with a misfit brother and filthy dog. It gave me similar feelings to reading Bill Bryson, in its charm and obvious intelligence. One thing I wonder about (perhaps mentioned in a bit I had to skip?)--why no mention of the computer game at all? I know that's not the necessary thing to reference about the Ore ...more
