Shelves: historical-fiction, setting, read-in-2016, translated

This book's continued popularity is really a testament to the power of word of mouth. Elena Ferrante has somehow quietly taken the world by storm. I didn't enjoy the book as much as I'd hoped I would, but I'm going to partially blame that on the fact that I listened to the audio, which many people agreed was pretty bad.
