This is the book that reminds me of why I love the Lunar Chronicles. Cinder is good, and I still would give it nothing less than five stars because I think the conversation on race and society is so important.

I feel like this book takes me longer to get through, and I think it has to do with the fact that it's a Little Red Riding Hood retelling so there's a lot of dumb decisions being made. I think I liked this as much as Cinder.
There is a lot more action and adventure in this one.
We get to find out about Cinder and Scarlet's grandmother.
Some new characters are introduced, as well as some old returning.
Overall I really enjoyed and can't wait for Cress =)

So Scarlet, this is the second book in the lunar chronicles series and I gave the first book Cinder 4/5 stars. Scarlet definitely topped it for me and so subsiquently gets 5/5 stars.
The part that threw this book above and beyond Cinder was that while I love Cinder as I character I don’t really have any interest in Kai as her love interest. With Scarlet I loved her stubbornness and idependance but I also just loved her love interest Wolf.

First let me say that this wasn't what I was expecting after reading Cinder. I got addicted to Cinder so it was what I expected when it came to this book.
