Hmm Ok here we go. This book had the potential to be a really good dystopian trilogy. Post-apocalyptic world ? CHECK ! Unsolvable mystery ? CHECK ! A little bit of romance ? CHECK. Suspense ? DOUBLE CHECK !
So why did it turn out like a quite boring and childish book ? Well first I have a hard time believing Thomas is 16 years-old. He seems like 12 or something. If the book was not filled with some gore passages I would have said it was a book for children. But it is not. Yet, the writing style

I was extremely excited to read this book as I saw the movie and really enjoyed it. The book was a bit slow at the beginning and I found it a bit hard to really get into, but around page 100 or so things began to pick up. It was a good book and I did like it, but in my opinion there wasn't really anything that special about it. I finished it in four days although I often found myself wanting to read the book so that I could finish it and read something else, rather than wanting to read it as it ...more

The beginning of this book drug on so bad. The ending picked up and left me at a cliff hanger making the next book a must read to find out what happens.
