Oh my lord this book. Holy crap had me hooked from the beginning. The pictures and all go together so well that it keeps you wanting more. I seriously cannot wait to read more about Jacob and the peculiar children’s adventures and see what becomes of Miss Peregrine
I began reading this last night, and finished it today. Wow...What a ride. I had to take some breaks to keep from getting too sucked in, but it was a near perfect read. I really enjoyed it, the characters were solid, I loved how the author handled the narration and the use of the pictures was great, loved the little extra tidbits, the letters...Though I wish the author had included them in normal text since I don't read cursive very well, so I had to ask my mother who can read cursive to read ou

I lovvvved this book so much!
Now that I'm sitting down to write this review I feel that 2.5 stars would be a more appropriate rating.
Going into this book I had very low expectations due to all the reviews I'd read on it, however I saw it on the shelf at the library and thought, "why the hell not."
So I'll just jump right into it, I could not stand this book the first 120 pages or so. It wasn't really info dumping, or anything, it was just words dragging on and on. I couldn't stand any of the characters especially Jacob, the ...more
