My first Swedish Martin Beck police criminal story, the forerunner of Henning Mankell and his Wallender stories and the books that gave Mankell the idea, amongst other Scandinavian police detective authors. Situated in the sixties everything was done in the old style. No cell phones or DNA, just pure thinking and deduction. I loved it an will definitely read the others with time.
