Good solid intro, piqued my curiosity with the start of world building, a hint of action and then....straight into...info dump, info dump, info dump, small talk, too many characters, info dump, info dump, info dump.
Wow. Slightly disappointed because this could be (might be in future books?) a great series.
Good writing. Except for the ....info dumps. Reminds me of Jacquelyn Frank's books. Such promise, yet so annoying to read.
