This book has a couple things going for it, but plenty of it annoyed me as well. I have to say the author chose a really odd, shitty place to end the book as well. :( I'm going to give the series a bit longer to impress me and read the next book, but with reservations. We'll see if it picks up and works out some of kinks in book 2. ...more
