2019 It’s been a couple of years since I read this last. I still really enjoyed it. Wanda’s narrative bugged me a little bit this time. I had a hard time swallowing her timidness. I really just wanted Mel to take over. Having said that, I was again touched or faced with pondering what it means to be human and how amazing it is to have a body. I absolutely love Stephenie Meyer's style of writing. She is very talented and made reading fun for me again. (I know... who doesn't love to read, right?) My heart broke and raced with Wanda in this book. I think I fell in love with the wrong character though... Anyone else love Jared more than Ian? I guess I'm the type of girl who always loves what she can't have.

I have a hard time putting down Stephenie Meyer books, so I read this straight through in one day. I was surprised by the characters more than once. The story is totally believeable, and once more Stephenie pulls a logical yet unforseen miracle out of her basket to resolve an unresolvable conundrum!

Wow...Stephenie Meyer has done it again! I lost so much sleep reading this book, because I just could not seem to put it down.
