Finally! I knew these people were ready to revolt! Collins is very good at keeping her books unpredictable. I appreciate her characterization of the main character, Catniss. Catniss lives in a sea of uncertainty and self-doubt . . . very realistic for a sixteen/seventeen-year-old girl in those circumstances.
2020 It was so fun to read this book to my kids! They loved it just as much as I did. It’s even better the second third fourth fifth time through.

I loved this book. Read one and two right in a row and so they seem like one to me. Love the characters. Seriously could Peta be any sweeter. I really hope they end up together. And I cannot wait for the next one. August is too far away!
LOVED IT. Suzanne Collins is a damn good writer. Once I started this one (as with the Hunger Games) all I wanted to do was finish it but then I was sad that it was over. I can't wait for book three.

This book was even better than the first in the series. I am looking forward to the third book that comes out in August. It a must read for young and old.
