Another recommendation from my 15 year old brother. He just read this a few weeks ago and loved it. He wanted someone to read it so he could have someone to talk with about it, so I did and enjoyed it very much. He read the second in the series and loved it too. He is also excited because we just found out that the movie is coming out in Feb 2010.

I went into this book thinking it would be a better version of the film, however they are nothing alike. I can not believe how different the book and movie is. I enjoyed the movie and so felt a little disjointed reading the book. That’s not to say that the book wasn’t good or the story wasn’t good. In fact, I would say the book was better, a far better story. I just struggled to get into it and really enjoy it for what it was. wow. I knew it! There was something about Luke! haha anyway, this book is just awesome. I was never a fan of Greek mythology but I always thought it is a very interesting subject. Great job Rick Riodan! *salutes* I look up to you! ^^
