What a fantastic series!! It's hard to talk about the things I enjoyed about this book without giving anything away. It was certainly a page turner and was completely unpredictable. I found myself making time to read it. Word of warning, when you start to read this series, you better make sure you have all 3 books immediately available or you will go nuts waiting to get your hands on the next book. ...more

OMG! It's Awesome! I didn't see that coming, that Sebastian was Valentines son!haha Just when I reached page 402 that I realize where Jace came from! When Jocelyn told Clary the Celine was 8 mos. pregnant. So it's so obvious that the date is significant. Then she told Clary the Jace was Stephen son! How ironic that Imogen made Jace suffer and it turned out to be her grandson! haha..and! It was so awesome that the blood that runs in their veins were from an angel and not demon like Jace thought. ...more

I am filled with sorrow now that I have finished this series. Not only because I will miss the characters, but because I know it will be another long journey until I find another book within it's league—if that's at all possible. I have finally found a book/series that I have enjoyed as much as Twilight!! I only enjoyed the Twilight series a little more because it was the first book I had read in YEARS!! I hadn't known that great stories like these existed or even that I liked to read-so beating ...more

I didnt't want to write a review until I had read the entire series, so now that I am done here it goes. It was an interesting young adult series on the whole. It is fantasy/sci-fi, and it had warlocks, demons, vampires, werewolves, and shadowhunters-those chosen by an angel to keep humans safe from demons. It has some fun original ideas mingled with some familiar relationships between vampires and werewolves. It had a compelling story line with a human finding out she can see shadowhunters whic ...more

Meh. I don't identify with any of these characters; perhaps that's why I don't particularly care about the story. I read City of Glass straight through, but I doubt I'll read it again. Everything/one seems so . . . manipulated . . . so created to answer the demands of the plot. These characters have no life of their own; they could never go where the author did not expect them to go. ...more

I loved this series so much! I'm sad that it had to end...Cassaandra writes so vivedly, i love it! There's a little bit of everything! It's confusing, but only if you try to explain it to someone. When you're reading there are no doubts. :) 5 stars! ...more
