The plot is amazing! I fell in love with the creativity of the book and all the characters were fascinating - so diverse and unique! I literally felt like I were there with the boys in the Glade while reading this book. Also, I am so glad the main focus of this book wasn't romance or a love triangle. This book was simply amazing.

An exciting read. Thomas awakes in a cold, dark box one day to begin his journey, and we follow him through it knowing just as much as he does, which is barely anything. The constant confusion and mystery he's surrounded by makes you want to keep turning the pages so you can figure out what's happening to him. I didn't hate it so much the second time around. No, I still didn't find it a brilliant read, but it was alright. I didn't fall in love with this book by any means. I found it quite dry and rather boring at parts. The plot was interesting, but I didn't care much for the style of writing. Additionally, I never liked Thomas. I never believed him to be exceptionally smart or heroic or at all exceptional. Still, I definitely can appreciate it more now that I knew what was going to happen.
