Well, I made the mistake of getting "Falling Man" as an audiobook. While I love the reader (actor John Slattery), DeLillo's writing does NOT make for a smooth read. His style uses lots of reps and emphasis, and he switches quickly between voices and scenes which is hard to follow if only listening. Also, this story is v. depressing, being about the personal aftermath of 9/11 et al. The audiobook is overdue at the library by more than a month now... I have a feeling I won't be finishing it.
