I loved this "visual" story. I even read an excerpt to my son's 7th-grade class a few years back to teach them about making assumptions. My favorite of the three storylines in this book is the story of Garnett Walker and Nannie Rawley, the traditional farmer versus the organic one. Their anonymosity towards each other is a hoot. The scene with the snapping turtles was so funny, tears ran down my face. As a person who has had problems with vertigo, the part of this book when Nannie helps Garnett
