Such an amazing and pleasant read! Focused on systems analytics and design, offers a complete introduction to the most important concepts with references to examples and metaphors from science, literature, philosophy, pop culture, anthropology, politics... you name it. The author is obviously interested in (and, I dare to say, in love with) the whole world, treating many different subjects with respect and inviting the reader to look at them equally with love, interest and respect. A must read.

Systems thinking is something that is so important to understanding the world, yet seems to be lacking in a lot of policy decisions today. This book helps develop a framework for how to think from a systems perspective, and provides the introductory view of systems modeling. This is, however, a primer, and it only serves to get your feet wet. I was told often that this is an absolute must-read for anyone concerned with problem-solving tasks, or more in general, everyone! I can see myself reading it multiple times because the content is so insightful for me.
I would say the first chapters feel a little stiff, but later the author goes into the nitty-gritty, which is really fun and inspiring!
