Okay, I'll just post the conclusion of my review here, because when I'm browsing through reviews to see if a book is worth reading, I sometimes just read the conclusion because I can't be bothered to read the whole thing.
*If you are a huge fan of Vampire Academy, GIVE THIS BOOK A CHANCE. Keep in mind that it is written from Sydney's point of view, so it will have a different feel and writing style. She will be different from Rose, so give her a chance.*

I'm a huge fan of the Vampire Academy series and was sadden to have it "end". I've been team Dimitri since the beginning (I might actually have a slight Russian men obsession, but that's besides the point). And I was pleasantly surprised to learn about the soon off. However, IMO I don't want to say this book sucked, I was just indifferent. Sydney just pisses me off at times and I'm so sick of her "I'm better than you filthy bloodsickers" attitude. Hooked. Completely. It took me all of 2 days to finish this one. Really good actually; anxiously awaiting this series to continue...

So relieved that this turned out to be another successful Mead book. A lot of loose ends tied up and it turned out great...now i can't wait for the next one...just hope the rest of the series turns out just as great as vampire academy story did. as much as i love rose and dimitri...i really like what is going on with sydney and adrian, but he is obviously still hurt by rose and sydney doesn't really understand love yet but with dimitri around she will defiantly be there for him!! man i hate clif
