I cannot wait for this book. I know there is going to be a book 6 because I checked it out, but I think this book will be a big turning point in the series. I really hope she saves Dimitri because I really loved him and didn't like the new Dimitri so much. It broke my heart to see the new Dimitri.I also really like Adrian and hope she doesn't break his heart, he deserves a chance. FREAKING AWESOME!!

Here i was, thinking i had the end of the series all figured out, but no. Not at all.

This book was full of surprises, and characters like Adrian and Lissa blew me away. I love to see how all of them have evolved and how the story keeps going places i never could've wonder.

There are too many reasons why i love this series above all others, and almost all of them were reminded to me on this book, i wish i could give it 6 stars, I LOVED IT! ...more

finished reading it...wow i thought i didnt get enough of rose and dimitri in blood promise but i got even LESS in this book. i didnt have enough fill of them two...richelle better have A LOT of rose n dimitri scenes in the next book!!!

i will have a SEIZURE if Dimitri and Rose dont end up together, i dont even care if they die, just as long as they die TOGETHER!!! grrrr!!! (but i wud still like it better if they lived, lol)

TEAM DIMITRI!!!!!!! Because even when he's bad...He's GOOD.
He'll always be my bad ass Guardian nd I really hope Rose and Dimitri find away to be together.

AMAZING!!!!!! Oh and by the way, this book shows even more how much of a Bum, Adrian is. I have a couple of theories on the next book if you'd like to know just ask. I think they're really good and so do my friends but I'd like to know your theories too. God December's so far away. I'll be wishing my life away again lol. ...more

OMG!!! This book ended with a cliff-hanger. I cannot wait until December when the next and last book comes out.
I think Rose is an amazing character. Her passion for the people she loves is awesome.
I am HOPING that she and Dimitri end up together. Adrian is a nice guy and all, but he is not the guy for Rose. You can tell that her heart belongs to Dimitri.

Ok, I'm actually tempted to give this book four stars. It was a dissapointment if I'm honest, and coming from me that's saying something because I'm always going on about how much I adore the vampire academy series. Spirit Bound was definitely worth this terribly long wait, and I know that the next book is going to be one even better.

Rose was as strong a character as ever. I love her, no matter how many other people out there don’t. She’s funny, crazy, stubborn, temper-bound, an amazing friend, gorgeous, strong, and does the stupidest of things out of love – and I love her. I really admired her for going throug Wow. I finished this book today and was totally blown away; I still can’t stop thinking about it. Spirit Bound was definitely worth this terribly long wait, and I know that the next book is going to be one even better.

Rose was as strong a character as ever. I love her, no matter how many other people out there don’t. She’s funny, crazy, stubborn, temper-bound, an amazing friend, gorgeous, strong, and does the stupidest of things out of love – and I love her. I really admired her for going through everything with Dimka, especially after the way he treated her following what happened with Lissa. She was beautiful in the mind sense – she broke into a prison, released her mortal enemy, all to let go of someone who’s held her heart for so long. I really, really, REALLY can’t let go of that. But, of course, Adrian. The whole issue with him. She treated him terribly, and God forgive me, I didn’t mind – Rose had to do what Rose had to do! I love yah, Rose.

Dimitri. Oh, Dimitri. He was really starting to get on my nerves with the whole “I have to let you go to repay you. My love has faded for you, yadda yadda…” but I still held my breathe every time he spoke, as I did with every book before that had him the wonderful WARM lover I think we’ve all dreamt of, at least one. I’m such a loser that I have to admit I have dreams about him sometimes.
Still, as I said before, I wish he would’ve been more appreciative of Rose. I think though, that maybe, just MAYBE, he’ll be with her in the end, if Mead decides to give us a heart break. Haha, see the joke I made there???

Lissa. Eww. Thankfully, someone answered my prayers while writing this one (ILY Richelle Mead!) because Lissa wasn’t much of a prominent character in this book via the others. Of course, she was still very much so a main character, and I think I read the book too fast, but she just didn’t seem to be there the entire book. Or maybe she was, and was just too busy with Christian and Dimka and everyone BUT Rose (in her time of need, I might add), that she just didn’t seem to be there.

Victor Dashkov and his bro did NOT disappoint! I loved Victor in this one – I still hated him, as you should a mortal enemy  but I still love how he could be so caring (despite his cruelty) towards his brother and concerning poor Natalie. He disappeared, unfortunately, half way through, and I have a gut feeling that we’ll never see him again, but I think he made a wonderful asset to the story. His brother was also extremely interesting.

Oh, wow, the Ivashkovs. I think I really like Queen Tatiana (or DID like her!), and only because she seems so nice but so sinister and then I think she really likes Rose and then doesn’t and then WHOA. I also didn’t like Adrian’s mother, Daniella, or his father, Nathan. They both seemed really fishy to me, especially Daniella.

I love Zmey. I love you so much, Abe, that sometimes you make me pee myself.I love you, Christian. I love you Mia, although you played a small part, and I love you Eddie! You really are a good friend to Mason (think about that, guys!). And then, there’s Adrian, the one character I’ve totally tried to ignore. Yuck. I love his character, and if he were made a distraction for anyone BUT Rose, and for anyone BUT against Dimka, I would’ve chosen him, first. But, I love Dimka more, and I hate how Adrian’s so understanding and calm (HE JUST WANTS ROSE!). I want Rose and Dimka, but I do think Adrian should end up with someone good…Sydney, maybe?!

Whoa, that was one hell of a long review. Ok, well, I think I’ve voiced my opinions. Time to start waiting for Last Sacrifice. Although, I don’t really want to read it as a) I’m afraid of what’ll happen, b) I don’t want Rose’s tale to end, c) The 6-book spin-off series will take forever to get in progress!

Amazing. Spirit Bound was definately worth the long anticipated wait. I got my hands on it the day it was released. I wanted to put it down but everytime I did in a matter of mere minutes I had picked it up again. The story line was fantastic, I loved every bit of it. I feel so sorry for Adrian I grew to like him a lot more in this book, I liked the time he and Rose spent together but I'm still hoping Dimitri and Rose work things out. May 20th is so long away! Read blood promise in like 4 hours and now I need the next NOW.
"Kill the undead" maybe that means kill the undead part in Dimitri. Anyway I think they will break Victor out, save Dimitri, somebody will die, Lissa & Rose will run into roses father again cause Abe is so cool. Need Oskana and Marks help to save Dimka and then he comes back dhampir again and in the 6ths theirs a Vamp War :D ...more
