Overall a good read. Compelling enough that I churned through it in 2 days. The characters are all despicable; the narrators unreliable.

The ending was disappointing. Deducted one star because I guessed 'whodunnit' and why about 1/4 of the way in.

Still yet to find an ending that knocked me on my arse as much as Sharp Objects did. ...more

I completely and utterly enjoyed this book. It was recommended to me by my father in law and I had heard other people say that this book was amazing but despite having already heard that I didn't know what the actual story was about. When I first picked up the book and started reading and "listening" about Jess and Jason from Rachel I wondered what on earth was actually going to happen. I was gripped throughout the whole thing and every page just left me wanting to read me until I had finished. ...more

Just perfect. I enjoy every single word in this book. Lovely story. Two life stumble across each other and stay for eternity.
People can't choose where they born but they definitely can choose how they live. That is so right for two women in this books. ...more
