Didn’t find out until the end that this is the third book this author has written in this “universe.” Works well as a stand alone book but there was one unanswered question I suspect is covered in previous book. I can’t wait to read it. Really loved this book start to finish. Though I am partial to SciFi I don’t think this book is very approachable for people who worry about the universe building SciFi has to do.
Absolutely wonderful story on audio (read by multiple narrators!) - it's a perfect length too. Highly recommend.
I also just found out that the author's previous novel The Glass Hotel has the story of one of the side characters in this book, so I need to go read that one now!

Dreamy, weird, interconnected stories with just stellar writing and a little pandemic commentary along with some time travel and family relationship stuff… how could you go wrong? Loved it.
