Totally enjoyable satirical take on "Jane Eyre" set in Victorian England in the 1850s. Jane Steele, like Jane Eyre, is orphaned as a child, left with her aunt who hates her & her horrible cousin. But Jane Steele is quite a bit more assertive than Jane Eyre - when her cousin assaults her, her response is to push him, causing his death.
