Beautifully written story that juxtaposes the stories of a young blind French girl & a young German boy, expert in the dominant technology of the day (the radio), who has little choice but to join the Nazis. As their stories unfold, they are brought together by fate and circumstance - Marie Laure working for the French resistance and Werner detecting partisan radio transmissions for the Germans.
