OKAY. This book.
In some ways (probably mostly the setting, the fairytale nature of this book, and the pace at which the story is told) this book reminded me of The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey, which I read in February 2015 and absolutely ADORED. If there were a way for me to guarantee that everything I ever read takes place in a cold and snowy setting, told at a slower pace, and has elements of fairytale, I'd do it.
