Ah booktube I have a love/hate relationship with you and once again I remember booktubers raving about it, and last year I gave in bought the first two books in this trilogy I waited until the hype died down but this book was bad and for good measure the amount of times certain words where mentioned well on my Twitter I did this I made the Queen of the Tearling make a drinking game out of it because of how many times the words 'god' and 'bible' are mentioned. Chances are you can get smashed from Ah booktube I have a love/hate relationship with you and once again I remember booktubers raving about it, and last year I gave in bought the first two books in this trilogy I waited until the hype died down but this book was bad and for good measure the amount of times certain words where mentioned well on my Twitter I did this I made the Queen of the Tearling make a drinking game out of it because of how many times the words 'god' and 'bible' are mentioned. Chances are you can get smashed from the first 300 pages basically take a shot everytime those words are mentioned you're in for a treat.

Oh and extra shots if the word 'church' is used have fun!

Anyway I decided to force myself to finish this book that I began hating very early on once an author adds things to do with religion and starts making it pretty damn obvious yeah that gets annoying hence I made a drinking game, yeah if you should ever should suffer through this book be sure to keep a shot glass and load of alcohol close your going to need it.

Don't waste your money on this trilogy.

This book definitely has an interesting premise and I did grow to really like some of the characters, but this book was defiantly not perfect.

First this was a political, slow building book, paced like an action book. I would of preferred to have more world building and character development, then having second rate action. I found that she tried to do both rather unsuccessfully.
