I absolutely adored this book so freaking much.
And yes, it made me cry a lot.

god, this book was great. at first I wasn't a fan of the quick back and forth between present and past but then I got used to it and now I think it added a lot to the story. though there's a clear murder mystery plot, what really makes this novel is the exploration of relationships and the characters. and ugh god, everything about sophie and mina's relationship was beautiful and real and heartbreaking and I'm so glad bisexuality was brought up. grief, addiction, sexuality, murder and so ...more
