I do think this book was a little over hyped. I did like the story and the characters; though I did find that there was something missing for me to make a connection with. As well I had some issues with the organization, I sometimes find the past present organization builds suspense. But in this case I felt that it impeded the flow of the book. The multiple perspectives could have flowed a bit smoother as well. Liked it and will continue with the series though.

I'm not sure if it's just how I feel today after finishing this book I found myself not really giving a shit about the characters at all in the end I might as well call the ending a "meh" ending and well I liked the concept and I guess going into this book with such high expectations having enjoyed Victoria Schwab's previous books I guess its fair not to like them all.
