Ugh, this book is SO GOOD. I managed to avoid most of the hype surrounding this book, but the instant I heard 'superhero' I was in. And just, wow. Wonderful and intriguing study of character, and the 'good vs evil' trope is abandoned here for 'bad vs worse' instead. It's dark and twisty but little touches make some of the characters so appealing and lovable, and just, this whole book was so freaking cool.

OMG THIS WAS AMAZING!!!!! You know a story is going to be good when it starts out with the characters digging up a body to send someone a message. This book is filled with so many epic quotes and twisted characters whose lives intermingle with one another. (side note: Victor is now apart of my book reverse harem that I have created. Welcome to the club, Victor)The ending was so satisfying and I have nothing bad to say about this novel. Beautiful piece of literature Ms. Schwab!
