Three stars isn't enough so I'm giving this four but under protest.
What's with this woman? While the story itself is good and the premise is great, the beginning and the ending will give you whiplash.
The first chapter is confusing. It's unclear what's happened and it takes the reader a while to catch up and to forgive the author for this somewhat "Graceless" way of starting a story about a girl named Grace.

A pack of wolves lives in the forest, they disappear in the summer, as the temperature drops they return. A boy from school is killed by wolves and the attack of the wolves has begun. One wolf by the name of Sam seeks refuge at Grace's house and a romance erupts. Sam and the other wolves are werewolves.
Each chapter has a temperature. The story rotates from Sam to Grace.
Loved the book - can't wait to read or listen to more from Maggie Stioefvater.
