The book "Lust for Life" written in 1934 by Irving Stone is just a wonderful book with many aspects to it. What I loved was the fact that Stone's prose made the emotions of the characters drip off the pages. I know enough to get by regarding this famous artist, but not enough to question what was fiction.
The book tells the story of Van Gogh's life, including the dependant relationship he had with his brother Theo; an art dealer. Vincent's wife Jo sold his paintings after Theo passed away.
