The opening line is: We wanted more. This is a coming-of-age story focused on three brothers growing up in upstate New York; it is narrated by the youngest boy. If I had not been enticed by the good reviews given by some friends, I'd probably not have picked this one up due to it's length and the storyline. I'm glad I picked it up. I didn't love it like some but I think the author did a wonderful job with so much in so little. He definitely has a knack for writing and I enjoyed reading it. Interesting ending.
