Truly frightening! I could only read the first third of the book in very short bursts to allow myself to calm down it was so unsettling. Really made you think about our vulnerability to this kind of attack and want to lay in supplies and stock up on some old technology. This would be a good one to give to leaders of local Emergency Management Teams just to get them thinking.
If there was a half star option I might have chosen 3.5 but I will round it up. I think the subject matter of this book is very interesting and intriguing and an EMP is something I knew little about. It brings to the forefront just how very dependent we are on the energy grid in every aspect of our lives. I think it would do us all well to consider how we should prepare for emergency times, even if it is just an ice storm or hurricane. Of course, our cars and the rest of the country still work t
