I would like to thank Netgalley and the Publisher for giving me the opportunity to read this book.
I thought the book and the characters were really good. I liked Tilda a lot, especially after she rescued the dog from some jerks who where abusing her. She brought her home and named her Thistle.

Splendid story and quite interesting, a story that draws you in quickly. I enjoyed reading about Tilda and how she comes to terms with her uniqueness and how she overcomes her fears through her ancestors (loved the character Seren). The Welsh setting was intriguing, I savored the history and the lore of the early Brits. Some fictionalization but also many truths of the early Celts from the old religions impact on the island as well as Christianity, the weak alliances between the different kingdo
