Here is another awesome edition I’ve added to my collection 💕

I also like to listen to my cd or mp3 when rereading the book, it gives me great comfort .. especially when I’m feeling particularly like shit …

Ok, I’m going to try to show how beautiful this book is through a few collages. I just don’t have the time or stress level to add each little thing so I’ll show a few things. I’m hoping they take this as I’m trying to review each edition I own, although, I might just add to a few of them later

Digital audiobook narrated by Kate Reading

One of the best opening lines of literature: “It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.”

I thought it was okay when I read it in high school. I re-read it shortly after the BBC mini-series came out and really appreciated it. I’ve seen several film adaptations. And now I’ve listened to the audio version.

It's no wonder this is a classic. Austen is simply the master of dialogue. The

I mean there really isn't much I can say that hasn't already been said on this book. I love the book! I love the movie!

I watch the movie over and over. This is the first time reading the books as it was in my stacks. I loved reading a lot of the things that weren't added in the movie.

I picked this book version because my favorite movie is the one with Keira Knightly and Matthew MacFadyn in it. I know plenty love the other, but to each their own and this is what I love.

If you loved the movies,

When it comes to Pride and Prejudice I have read the original novel, read some retellings and sequels based on P&P, watched the black and white film to BBC's mini-series to the Keira Knightly version, and I have seen Hollywood and Bollywood films based on the P&P premise. And, today I add the play adaption of P&P.

Poster of the play
When I saw that the Arts Club (Vancouver, BC) was going to put on an adaptation of Pride and Prejudice I knew that this was something I had to attend. I have enjoyed a

I don't really know how to rate this, so I suppose that 4 stars will be good, because it's not the most amazing book ever, but it's not as bad as other book I've rated 3 stars. This was a reread for me, and upon rereading, I think that I definitely enjoyed it more than I did in the past when I read it for school. My favorite part of this book has always been the wit and banter between Darcy and Elizabeth, though the happily ever after, feel-good aspect is also a plus, as well as the absurdities ...more
