After finishing Vital, I was more than ready to dive in the world of See with Charlie, Draven, Aden and Madison! And just like Charlie, I had to remember what is was all about. I apparently reread See in 2019 but I have no memory of doing that, which is weird. Now, everything's fresh in my mind and I can write an actual review, which I apparently forgot to do in 2014.

Charlie and Draven are (I think) my favorite couple after Drake and his soulmate (might be a spoiler but if you know, you know...) After finishing Vital, I was more than ready to dive in the world of See with Charlie, Draven, Aden and Madison! And just like Charlie, I had to remember what is was all about. I apparently reread See in 2019 but I have no memory of doing that, which is weird. Now, everything's fresh in my mind and I can write an actual review, which I apparently forgot to do in 2014.

Charlie and Draven are (I think) my favorite couple after Drake and his soulmate (might be a spoiler but if you know, you know...). I've read some reviews saying that it was super weird for Charlie to be with Draven so quickly and accept his behavior. I can see why people would think that but at the same time, a small part of herself knows this used to be her normal. Her mom is friendly with him and his dad, too. And ofc the chemistry between them is just undeniable!

I think it is a great book to reread once you know what their fate is because you can see how this particular situation is their enemy's doing. It was a really satisfying reread, in my opinion.

I do agree with the few reviews that said Draven wanted her to remember on her own, but she actually manages to remember when people answer her questions directly. That is contradictory but it didn't bother me that much. I was more focused on playing Sherlock Holmes and trying to discern Bianca's actions, and Britain's intention. I have a theory now about this dark blonde guy, I'll see what the next books say about him and if it checks out or not...

Overall, See was a very entertaining reread, I loved Madison on energy drinks to avoid "strange" dreams (cough, cough). I loved following Charlie while she (re)discovered the love of her life, her insight and the people she shares that gift with. I also liked how this book is really an introduction to what the heroes' enemies like Bianca can do. In Insight, Donalt's doing seems clear and out in the open. In See, Bianca's actions are still mysterious : even at the end of the book we don't really know what her intentions were, and who she works for... So all I want to do now is reread Witness! ...more
