Which Prince and Betty did you read? This might be a greeting at Wodehouse conventions. It seems that the story was serialized in a 20,000ish and a 30,000ish format to the UK and the US. Forgive me, I've forgotten which country was blessed with the shorter version. These were oddly for Wodehouse fairly straight forward romances. It took me a while to complete this, because it felt a slight drag for me in the middle. The beginning and also towards the end, it picked up some pace.
Not humorous like Plum's other books but a nice read anyways 😊 ...more
