What can I write about a genius' creation? Just finished the novel and I am still in his beautiful world where happy endings are the order of the day. Plum never disappoints me and I am sure he never disappoints anyone who wishes to enter his beautiful world. I strongly wish his books are recommended to treat depression rather than any medicines. ...more

This is a pleasant novel that might well get an extra star from an average comedy writer, but fairly or unfairly the name Wodehouse raises expectations. Even a 'average' book from PG is worth reading for the word play and smiles and even outright laughs.

It should be noted that this final complete Blandings novel was written 54 years after the first Blandings tale and 69 years after Wodehouse book. Pretty impressive stats and two Jeeves and Wooster books still were in the grand old man's future a
